Man United fans might remember a midfielder named Bebe who arrived at the club for a princely £7 million, only to struggle to adapt and leave after just 7 appearances.
Bebe grew up in a homeless shelter in Lisbon, Portugal, and his move to Old Trafford was truly a rags to riches tale, a heart warming story that captivated the British media. Sadly he seemed to make basic mistakes, and lacked the fundamental skill needed to ply your trade at the level of Manchester United.
He spent several loan spells away from the club before finally making a permanent move back to Portugal at Benfica. He then spent an unsuccessful loan spell at Cordoba before moving on loan to Rayo Vallecano this season.
