Man Utd are so desperate for defenders to bolster their pitiful back line that they're lining up bids left right and centre at the moment. Latest on their list (according to the Daily Star) is Atletico Madrid's Miranda, who bagged a goal for his side against Real in the Copa Del Rey final.
The 30 year old is said to have a £24m buyout clause on his contract, although he has already stated that he's very happy to stay at the La Liga champions. Van Gaal is expected to launch a £20m bid anyway, because why not. If he's not available, don't be surprised if Man Utd offer a cheeky £10m to sign this Miranda instead. Anyone will do at the moment.
