Manchester United will go head to head with Arsenal for Paris Saint-Germain's Brazilian centre-back Marquinhos, according to the Mirror.
The 21-year-old defender is unhappy in Paris after being played out of position. Marquinhos has even been left out of the squad on occasion, including the 2-2 draw with Manchester City in the Champions League last week.
There was speculation that Marquinhos would join United last summer and he even publicly stated he liked the idea of playing in England. However, United will have to compete with Arsenal - who may well trump their rivals in terms of qualifying for the Champions League.
Marquinhos will likely cost a huge amount of money considering his ripe age and previous £25m price-tag.
