Another u-turn.

Sky Germany have reported that Manchester City have made a £50.4m bid for the Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and the deal will be announced on Monday.

Earlier this week De Bruyne claimed that he would be staying at Wolfsburg this season but it looks as if his claims had as much validity as those of Fabian Delph, when he announced he would remain at Aston Villa.

If the transfer goes through it will give City plenty of options in the attacking midfield positions, with De Bruyne joining the likes of David Silva, Raheem Sterling and Yaya Toure.
