He Became A World Cup Cult Hero, And Now Arsenal & Liverpool Want His Signature

In the world's most obvious transfer rumour, Mexico 'keeper Guillermo Ochoa is being linked with all and sundry after his quite literally show-stopping performance against Brazil last night, with Arsenal and Liverpool leading the charge.

According to the Mirror, the two clubs are looking at the goalkeeper despite that position not being massively in need of improvement for either side. It's a particularly recurring theme amongst teams struggling to come to terms with their own mortality: jumping on the World Cup bandwagon and buying names instead of positions.

Arsenal, in particular, should be focusing attentions elsewhere - especially with the positions of right-back, centre-back, defensive-midfield, both wings and striker being in desperate need of back up. Liverpool - less desperately - need centre-half stability and another fullback as well as back-up in attacking midfield.

TBF, Ochoa is a great 'keeper but why aren't messrs Rodgers and Wenger focusing on their real problems?
