Meet The Electric Winger Man City Are Tracking

Manchester City have sent scouts out to Portugal to track Porto's Mexican international winger, Jesus Corona (TalkSport).

The Premier League leaders have been alerted after an impressive debut from the winger saw him score a brace, and City are interested despite him only joining the club from Dutch side FC Twente in August. Porto have apparently inserted a £35 million release clause in his contract, meaning a move for him would be unlikely so soon after signing, but there are rumours of a January move.

More likely is that City are keeping tabs on the player and will move for him next summer, or perhaps even later. They have already invested heavily in the squad this season, with Raheem Sterling costing £50 million, Kevin De Bruyne £56 million and Nicolas Otamendi £32 million, and are unlikely to invest heavily again.
