Celtic have been linked with a summer move for the Iranian international Alireza Jahanbakhsh and he looks to have all the qualities to get the fans at Parkhead excited.

The 21-year old NEC winger has just enjoyed a brilliant season in Holland where he was a key figure in his side’s promotion back to the Eredivisie.

In 28 league appearances in the Eerste Divisie, Jahanbakhsh contributed to 40 goals - scoring 12 and assisting 18.

Jahanbakhsh has played in Holland for two seasons and had a decent campaign in his first - scoring six goals and assisting five - despite NEC eventually being relegated.

A winger who can play on either flank, Jahanbakhsh has 15 caps for Iran and has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the past. Celtic’s interest looks more genuine however and here’s what their fans can expect if they clinch the signing.
