Manchester United have received a major boost after a top class young central defender, revealed that he could be on the move next summer.
The PSG centre-back Marquinhos spoke out about Manchester United's interest in him, after the French champions' 1-0 win over minnows Wasquehal in the Coup de France.
"It’s my pleasure. It means that we work well. Like everyone else, I always want to be a part of the starting line-up.
"But we all must respect the choices of the coach and management.
"I will continue to work to get my place. But it's true there will come a moment where I am older. You cannot just get used to sitting on the bench.
"There are six months left for PSG to win titles. After that, we'll see what happens."
Marquinhos came on as a second-half substitute in the match and has only started seven league games this season, despite having signed for a massive €31.4m fee in 2013.
Now 21-years old, the Brazilian still has plenty of time to fulfill his undoubted potential. Will he do it at Old Trafford? Watch him in action below and make your verdict.
