Musa Yahaya: Why Arsenal Are Chasing The Nigerian Starlet

Arsene Wenger has kept up his run of being linked with every single forward-thinking young footballer in the world as our mates at talkSPORT are reporting that Arsenal are intrigued by the prospect of having Nigerian winger/playmaker (is 'wide-trequartista' a thing yet? It probably should be) Musa Yahaya on their books.

The sixteen-year-old came to the attention of every scout and football hipster in the world with his breakout performance in Nigeria's terrific U17 World Cup-winning performance last year. Scoring four goals at the tournament in UAE was pretty impressive in and of itself but the overall play marked Yahaya out as one to be watched - no wonder Arsenal are dead keen.

They face a tough fight for the player with Portuguese transfer-rumour ever-presents Benfica, who may be favourites due to Portugal's decidedly more lax work permit laws.
