RVP To Juve: Even Van Gaal Can't Stop Stars Leaving Man United
In the rumour to possibly end all rumours, the Daily Mail reports that Juventus are willing to let Paul 'Linked With Literally Everyone, Especially Arsenal' Pogba go for £60million to free up some funds to buy former Arsenal golden boy RVP and United's erratic winger Nani.
Van Persie in particular has been linked with a move away from the north west for some time now following a series of clashes with David Moyes, but with the Scot swiftly shoved out of the Old Trafford exit, and RVP's Dutch counterpart Louis Van Gaal set to take the reins, it was thought that the striker might decide to hang around a little longer.
In truth, his exit would probably not be rued by many in Manchester. After a sparkling first season spearheading the Red Devils attack, in which he pretty much single-handedly led his club to the Premier League title, it just hasn't happened for him this time around, and he hasn't looked like his heart is in it for a while.
With Juventus, who have opened up a chunky lead at the top of Serie A, sniffing around for his services, the Oranje forward could well decide to cash in his chips, and head to Italy, where, lets face it, it's much more acceptable to wear sockless loafers and drink Espresso outside a café IN FACT SCREW THIS I'M GOING TOO.
Although his exit would leave United very short in the final third, it might open the door for Van Gaal to work his magic on other potential targets who might be able to fire the club back into the big time.
Oh, and Nani might leave too. No biggy.
