Tottenham Hotspur are ready to hijack West Ham's deal for ex-Arsenal midfielder Alex Song Billong, according to The Sun.

Spurs are looking to beef up their midfield and other targets included Victor Wanyama of Southampton, but now it seems that with a deal for the Kenyan unlikely, they've turned to Barcelona's Song.

Song had a decent season for West Ham last season during his loan spell and the Hammers were confident of getting a deal done before deadline, but now Spurs have turned up to spoil the party.

This will be an interesting one to keep an eye on in the final couple of days, just for what each set of fans sing by the end of it, of nothing else.
