According to The Telegraph, Spurs are confident of landing Cameroon and Lyon forward Clinton N'Jie, and will complete the signing this week.

The 21 year old, who can play on the wings as well as up front, helped Lyon finish runners up in Ligue 1 last season, scoring eight with nine assists in the process. Understood to be the natural successor to Samuel Eto'o, the pacey N'Jie has already lit up in performances for his national side, scoring 6 in 11 for Cameroon.

Spurs have made some forays into the transfer market this summer, signing Delle Ali, Toby Alderweireld, Kieran Trippier and Kevin Wimmer so far, but Pochettino has yet to strengthen his starting line-up in attack, arguably the place he needs it the most.
