Stat Shows Dramatic Improvement In David De Gea's Handling
Sky's Monday Night Football focused on David De Gea's improvement over the last three years and one statistic really stood out.
The Spanish keeper really struggled to deal with the aerial onslaught that is commonplace in the Premier League when he first arrived at United, but his ability to deal with crosses has improved dramatically.
In his first season at United, De Gea's catch to punch ratio was 56.3%, which dropped to 48.9% in his second season. Yet this season, De Gea caught 91.7%.
