Under-fire Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has made the extraordinary statement that his ENTIRE squad is up for sale. The comments come after the Black Cats lost their first two Premier League games comfortably against Leicester City (who narrowly avoiding relegation last season) and recently promoted Norwich City.
Advocaat had an emergency meeting with his first team squad last weekend after they slipped to defeat and will be hoping for a better result against Norwich, but his anger has clearly not dissipated. The Dutchman said, "Every player is for sale; if the player wants to go, he can go. One thing that I can say, which is 100 per cent, is we will become a better team. There is no doubt about that."
The experienced manager will have little time to impress after the performances in their opening games, despite his heroics at the end of last season, and his frustration is clear for all to see. The news comes just a couple of days after Sunderland were made relegation favourites by their own sponsors, Dafabet.
