Aaron Ramsey has started for Arsenal at Right Wing instead of either Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain or Theo Walcott, and it has provoked some mixed reactions from Arsenal fans. Ramsey is primarily a Central Midfielder for Arsenal, and has been a key player for them in the last couple of seasons, but with Coquelin coming in as a Defensive Midfielder and the excellent Santi Cazorla holding down a place in the centre, Ramsey has been forced out wide.

Much was made of the decision, with both Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain saying pre-match, "We need to do our talking on the pitch", while Thierry Henry noted that Wenger doesn't trust Walcott as a lone striker in big games, and he needs a run of games to prove himself.
