Valencia have warned Man Utd that their star target Nicolas Otamendi will cost them a minimum of £35m, according to the Daily Star.
Otamendi's representative said the Argentinian will do "everything possible to leave" Valencia if an offer came in from another club, according to The Guardian this week.
Manchester United have long been fans of the centre-back, with LVG still on the hunt for that a leader at the back in the style of Vidic or Rio.
Otamendi has apparently informed Valencia's president of his desire to leave to further his career, but this development shows the Spanish club aren't willing to let him go on the cheap.
