With all the turmoil going on behind the scenes at Leeds United there's relatively little cash for new manager Neil Redfearn to splash in the transfer market.
Like the black pudding industry, a football club is in constant need of fresh blood, so thank heavens for the club's academy which keeps churning out young talent.
The latest player off the conveyer belt and set for a first-team start is the 18-year old midfielder Kalvin Phillips. Redfearn has been so impressed with Phillips' form that he's publicly stated that the youngster is knocking on the door of the first-team. If he carries on scoring goals like this brace in Leeds' U-21 side's recent 3-3 draw with Nottingham Forest, that debut will come sooner rather than later.
