What a challenge...

Sevilla's Grzegorz Krychowiak has emerged as a £21.26m target for Arsenal, according to The Telegraph, and he's capable of some spectacular tackles - even against the world's best.

Arsenal reportedly sent a delegation to Georgia to watch Krychowiak in Sevilla's Super Cup final defeat against Barcelona last night. But the Polish defensive midfielder was playing centre-back until extra-time, thus limiting how much he could put on show.

However, the 25-year-old has played Barcelona many-a-time before and he's also absolutely owned Lionel Messi with a wonderful slide challenge...

The fee touted for Krychowiak is his release clause, so Sevilla would be powerless if Arsenal were to meet it. Arsène Wenger considered activating the release clause in January, but Francis Coquelin's emergence persuaded him otherwise. Now, Wenger looks more likely to do so as he tries to find a more reliable anchor that he can build a balanced midfield around.
