According to reports in The Independent today, West Ham are set to launch a £12m bid for out-of-favour Man Utd striker Javier Hernandez.

The Mexican has been a long-term target of Spurs, with Pochettino looking to find a suitable partner for Harry Kane, but with West Ham's striker worries it looks like Hernandez could now be moving to East London this summer.

Hernandez, who spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, was on the bench for Man Utd's 1-0 win against Spurs at the weekend and has failed to make a lasting impression at Old Trafford, despite making over 100 appearances for the club.

With injuries to Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia, West Ham know they must bolster their options up front if they are to build on their surprise opening victory at Arsenal.
