West Ham United have agreed a €12m deal to bring Juventus defender Angelo Ogbonna to the east-end, according to Sky Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The 27-year-old was also wanted by Everton, but West Ham appear to have struck a deal first.
Ogbonna is an Italy international and made over 40 appearances for Juventus since joining in 2013. A change of scenery will no doubt be healthy for the defender and West Ham will be hoping that they enjoy his peak years.
West Ham are making some excellent signings this summer with a combination of TV money and what they are projected to make from their shiny new Olympic stadium when they move in for the 2016-17 season. Ogbonna will join Nene and Payet in claret and blue.
