Slaven Bilic has been told he will be given the budget to sign Chelsea's Loic Remy, according to The Guardian

Bilic signed a three year deal at Upton Park this week, where he was a fan favourite as a player back in the '90s. News of a potential spending spree and a push for a Champions League place will only fire up the West Ham faithful ahead of next season's campaign.

Top of his shopping list is Chelsea's French international striker Loic Remy, who knows he'll have to get more first-team football if he is to be considered for France's 2016 European Championships squad.

Mourinho won't want to lose a striker if he is to successfully defend the title next season, but the Chelsea boss has already publicly stated that he won't stop any player from leaving if they wish to.
