Everton's Romelu Lukaku hit an impressive brace as his side cruised to a 3-0 win at Southampton on Saturday, but his finishing was more wayward during the warm-up. A stray ball flew into the stand and hit a Saints fan, before Lukaku made the unusual step of hurdling the advertising hoardings and walking up the stand to find the fan and personally apologise to her.
The fan must have been pleasantly surprised to find the Belgian striker making his way up to apologise, but will have been less pleased when he struck twice to sink the Saints on their first home game of the Premier League season.
