Why Liverpool WON'T Be Signing This Barcelona Wonderkid

This would've been some signing for the Reds.
Publish date:

Liverpool will not be signing highly-rated Barcelona teenager Adama Traore this summer, according to the Liverpool ECHO.

It's understood that the 19-year-old is ready leave to Barcelona this summer, but the Catalan club are only willing to let him do so if it's a loan or there is a buy-back clause.

Unlike Everton with Gerard Deulofeu, Liverpool are unwilling to be held to ransom over Traore and refuse to include a buy-back clause in any deal for the youngster.

Spanish outfits such as Villarreal and Celta Vigo are also interested in Traore, but Stoke City or Aston Villa are liklier destinations as the player himself has highlighted his desire to play in England.
