Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has hinted that long-time Arsenal and Liverpool target Jese Rodriguez is free to leave the Spanish club, according to the Metro.

The Spanish forward is keen to play first team football but has struggled in Zidane's side, with the likes of Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema standing in his way.

English duo Arsenal and Liverpool are both keen to grant Jese his wish however, with both sides looking to bolster their options up front ahead of the new campaign.

Speaking after Real Madird's 3-1 loss to PSG, Zidane did little to quell rumours of Rodriguez's departure, saying cryptically: "‘If he wants to leave to play more, I don’t know".

Arsenal are favourites to land the Spaniard, after seeing offers for Lacazette and Vardy turned down.
