The Michael family have been axed from Channel 4′s Gogglebox after the Dad announced he will stand as a UKIP candidate in next year’s general election.

You know which ones the Michaels are, they’re the family who all hate each other with the boy that screams a lot.

Channel 4 state that a member of a political party can’t take part in the programme, but that they are “very grateful for all they have given to the show”.

We’d like to know what Scouse Leon thinks of it.
