Fans of donuts in Hull are coming together for a special ‘KKK Night’ on February 18th, as advertised on the Krispy Kreme UK Facebook page this week.

The acronym stands for Krispy Kreme Klub, which is unfortunate as they’re also the initials shared by the Ku Klux Klan, the murdering group of white supremacist terrorists in the Souther States of the USA known for lynchings and brutality. Probably not the connotations you want for your weekly coffee morning.
