It's something all blokes have known for centuries, but scientists in Germany claim to have finally proven that male bonding is far better at lowering stress levels than a night out with a partner or family.
According to The Telegraph, those clever bods at the University of Gottingen have found that men suffer less anxiety when out with a group of other men, while stress hormones could "soar" when out with females. Did you hear that? "Soar".
The results come after researchers studied the behaviour of Barbary macaques, an ape with startlingly similar behaviour patterns to humans in social situations.
It's not known whether the research will be available in a printable version, or possibly framed, but here's hoping.
