Anil Mistry is a busy man. When he’s not doodling on trains from Shoreham-By-Sea to London over at his Paperchap blog, he’s making mad art pieces under the guise of Starchild.

Mixtape Vol. 1 is his most recent work. Collaborating with the prolific Cassette Lord – the man known for covering Brighton with colourful cassette stencils – the pair have created an eye-popping screen print that features Cassette Lord’s iconic tape motif along with two-tone stencils of Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Minnie Riperton, Roy Ayers, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Gil Scott Heron and Sly Stone.

Limited to 50, the artists say that this exclusive set of A2-sized prints is a tribute to simpler times “when the compact cassette was king, and music had real soul.”

Each print is individually numbered and signed by the artists. E-mail to get yours for £40 including UK P&P.
