Mention the word airfield and you think of queued up 747s snaking across the tarmac at Heathrow, or tiny little fields in the back-end of nowhere where rickety tin can toy-planes take off to rattle across the Channel. Not in Ukraine. In Ukraine they abandon planes, helicopters, buses and God knows what else for anyone to walk around and gad about on.
