High Tyde

With a track premier from Huw Stephens and love from XFM and Radio 1’s Phil Taggart, indie kids High Tyde have already built quite a name for themselves. ‘Do What You Want’ is a step forward, proving that they are maturing with each release. As the lyrics suggest, you really just want to grab that Corona and have a good one.

George Cosby

Here’s that early Christmas present I promised you earlier. ‘Ritual Blush’ is Cosby’s standout track, with its ascending drums complementing Cosby’s unique vocal range. George’s voice soars again on ‘Vacant Grace’, which is where his vocals turn melancholy and stunningly stripped back and stark. The London-based singer-songwriter’s exceptional vocals feature on his debut three-track EP ‘Human Touch’, available November 20.

Leo Kalyan

Mixing house with R&B and pop, ‘Get Your Love’ is a track full of tantalising synths and standout vocals. The track is paired with a snapshot video of Kalyan’s life, road tripping around Southern France and surfing. “Get Your Love’s’ entire vibe is very current and this puts him in great stead for being on on every Spotify ‘Summer Jams’ playlist next year.

Folded Like Fabric

Connor Sims and Jay Mooncie form this two-piece band of jazz-tinged electro-indie magnificence, offering us the stellar track ‘I Tried’ which transforms mid-track from a steadily chipper chorus to a delicately synth'd post-house party track. It touched me. There: I said it.

‘Let Go’ by ALXA is inconceivably good. Brand new to the scene, AXLA’s vocals scream Delilah and oozes eerie chill. With an undertone of the great 90s dance songs – you could imagine the backing track working with Moby – ALXA’s latest track accentuates her pain and effortless vocals, in a way she describes “human” and “passionate”.

You can get ALXA’s ‘LOST EP’ now on iTunes and Spotify.

The greatest thing to come out of Spain since Sergio Ramos. The all-female garage-pop, 60s-leaning band are an incredibly fresh voice in the saturated indie galaxy,

‘Garden’, Hinds’ latest track, is currently play-listed at 6Music and has attracted the attention of Beats 1, Rolling Stone and NME to name a few. This news comes as no surprise because that sound is truly outta sight.
