Menswear agency A Number of Names* have been front runners in the style game for years, so it's hardly surprising that their in-house tees made specially for press days soon became as sought-after as the brands they represented.
Demand for anon* merch has now grown to such a level that they've now opened up their own shop in Soho, on Upper James St. You'd know the one. It used to be the BAPE shop. I once saw Jamie Redknapp helping himself to a packet of Haribo in there. They were open on the counter. He wasn't stealing.
I popped in over the weekend. See that gorgeous orange coach jacket you can see in the window? It's even better in the flesh. Truly lovely garms.
You'll also find a selection of other labels on sale in the shop. A personal favourite is TSPTR, from the people behind Heritage Research and Trainer Spotter, whose gear is influenced by counter culture in protest-era USA. Think Schulz’s iconic Peanuts characters and Americana stalwart Popeye the Sailorman.
Go forth comrades. 4 Upper James St, Soho, W1F 9DG
