These shots are the culmination of a number of years work with my collaborator and old friend Antony Crook. Amongst his highly sought after commercial work, Antony is one of the founders of the Rig Out magazine.
The Rig Out was designed to showcase style (not fashion) to men like ourselves who are into clothing and not the latest trend. We wanted to create something timeless, rugged and (hopefully) classically British in look. We were tired of having style presented to us as having to be some 'skinny posh white kid, sat on a rock looking for his long lost love....' or really pretentious stuff involving.. I dunno... masks or something?
We wanted to hark back to a time when men where men, do you think Steve McQueen ever worried about scuffing his suede desert boots? Did he fuck. He just wore them and looked flipping great. Hopefully you get what Im talking about? If not, there's a thousand sites on the internet that will cater for your needs. Some more pretentious and flamboyant than others, Knock yourself out.
All garments from this spread can be sourced at www.oipolloi.com and if they've not got them, then your probably out of luck.
