A new brand hailing from the cotton capital of Britain, Manchester, Progress takes inspiration from the beaches of Rio and California and the streets of Salford.
Progress initially started out making Jiu Jitsu gi’s, becoming an instant hit in those circles. Their growing popularity meant high profile athletes soon took note, recognising the quality of the brand and wanted to get on board. This enabled owners Sam and James to think about branching out into street wares.
Having spent a year sourcing the right designers, manufacturers and materials Progress’ hard work has really bore fruit, to great effect.
Their sweatshirts particularly took my eye, made from premium cotton, they’re well cut, subtle, yet something of a statement. The sweats are available in black, with a run of grey and blue coming soon.
At home in the gym as they are down the pub, Progress’ wares are a very welcome addition to your casual repertoire.
