The Sapeurs are fascinating subculture of Congolese men known for their unflinching commitment to style. With the kind of casual disregard of their surroundings that only exists in true dandies, they strut around in their bowler hats, cigars, three piece suits, spats, kilts, pulling out all the stops to look completely fucking ace. We had a great piece on their cult of elegance by veteran style writer Chris Sullivan here which tells you much of what you need to know, but Guinness have released a brilliant short film which documents their life in a way never seen before. Unmissable.
