The short mock-up commercial for ‘Cruising Electric’, a kids toy to accompany Al Pacino’s 1980 film about gay nightlife, was made by LA based director Brumby Boylston and is up for the short film category at Sundance 2014. If it doesn’t win there’s something wrong with the world. It even comes with its own manual. Clever and doubled-over funny. Hats off.
