A track released as a tribute to Frankie Knuckles has topped the first ever vinyl singles chart.
A version of Baby Wants To Ride, released by Underworld and Heller & Farley to mark the year anniversary of the producer's passing, went straight in at number one. All proceeds will go to the Frankie Knuckles Trust / Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Following Frankie's death in 2014 his seminal 'Your Love' reappeared at number 29 in the singles charts, but to come out tops in a vinyl chart which includes David Bowie, Bruno Mars and Chic ft Nile Rodgers is no small feat and a fitting tribute to the legacy of the Godfather of House.
