It's been reported today that Everton are set to make a bid for AC Milan defender Cristian Zapata, which could be the proof that Roberto Martinez is preparing for life after John Stones, if the young England defender makes his proposed move to Chelsea.
Jose Mourinho has seen a £30m bid for Stones rejected, but is expected to come back with an increased offer to land the young prospect.
Martinez has supposedly drawn up a list of replacements for the 21 year old Stones, with Colombian international Zapata top of the pile.
