After much hype, Shinji Kagawa has not made much of an impression at Old Trafford - and he could be on a plane back to Germany sooner rather than later...

Man United To Swap Flop Star With Borussia Dortmund?

Shinji Kagawa is one of the best players in the world.

No, really.

Not my words, but the words of Borussia Dortmund’s angry faced boss Jurgen Klopp – and I wouldn’t argue with him, would you?

The German has admitted that he is heartbroken at the bit-part role of his ex-prodigy, and The Guardian reports that he has finally snapped, and decided to offer the Manchester United midfielder a path back to the Westfalenstadion.

Of course, David Moyes, with a squad full to the brim of world class creative talent, like Juan Mata, and, erm, Tom Cleverley, would be only too happy to oblige.

The Scot has struggled to find a place for his Japanese player – and is casting glances in the direction of Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan as a bargaining chip.

And how could Gundogan refuse a move to the north west? After all, it is a little known fact that he is actually allergic to Champions League football – so the opportunity to get healthy and ‘find himself’ at Old Trafford may prove too good to refuse.

The Scot is also eyeing Real Madrid’s industrious midfielder Sami Khedira and, well, anyone else who fancies coming - but with other a host of other top sides such as Chelsea also said to be interested in the German number six, he could have his work cut out securing that signature.

In the meantime though, Wayne Rooney has been reading through the first page of his new contract since Tuesday last week – and is finally in a position to ink his scrawl on a deal which will see him trouser £300k per week.

That’s £7.50 in the time it took you to read through that sentence.

And £2.50 in the time it took you to read through that one.

Struggling to see the point of this article other than the obvious opportunity to have several extremely poor digs at United. You write like a 12 year old and need to try much harder

Pathetic article with one sole intention, to dig aimlessly at utd. Everbody seems to bring everything down to the Champions League, money talks first and foremost and utd have plenty of it, and it's money they generated themselves(different argument altogether) The Gundogan deal makes a lot of sense, swaps rarely happen but this is a possibility, he has one year left on his contract, Klopp loves Kagawa and the lure of the EPL might be enough, particularly playing for the biggest team in the country.

ONE of the Worlds best midfielders, destroyed by David Moyes, and never a whisper of discontent from the player, except to say i must try harder, My God Moyes you wouldn't know what to do with an hard boiled egg even if you were starving, BUT I WOULD.

Moyes should sell all players above 28yrs and even below 25yrs and even those who who cannot attack must go for the development of the club.

Kagawa is a good player infact but the problem is the Manager who doesnt want to see who is who of his players , It will be good for K to go back if his fummer Manager loves him like i just read. World Cup is also ahead to every good player whom his country has qualify for it.
